At Think Tank Academics we are dedicated to a "round table" educational method that allows our team of talented professionals to support your family from many different scholastic angles. This is done in order to provide the best plan of action and cover every facet of your learning needs.

 Our professionals have accrued countless hours in the classroom and have experience as professional tutors, trainers, and facilitators who think outside the box in order to approach your Educational Needs in a way that encompasses a holistic approach. We employ Early Reading Specialists, Early Comprehension and Fluency tutors, skilled professionals in Special Education, Middle School development, and High School learning experts who can get their clients ready for any task from Kindergarten Developmental goals, to High School exams and SAT Preparation. All of our teachers pass entrance exams and are monitored for a probationary period when hired.

Think Tank’s Director and Founder, Blake X. Curry , is a unique educator in his own right. A two time Graduate of Wesleyan University,  Blake found his passion for the classroom as a Teacher’s Assistant for Wesleyan’s Sociology Department after gaining his Bachelors in Liberal Arts, in 2008-2009. Blake achieved these feats as a two sport athlete at Wesleyan, all while performing as personal assistant of Dr. Charles Lemert of Yale/Wesleyan. During his Masters studies at Wesleyan, Blake opted out of a traditional thesis, and created a new undergraduate course for Wesleyan.

Blake has since worked in the private education industry, acquiring knowledge of the major national changes in K-12 education, and vast experience working with families as a Director and Manager of some of the country’s best known and most respected Educational Programs. With a firm grasp on the most effective ways to help enhance the education of the children and young adults of his community, Mr. Curry has created Think Tank Academic Group, to pool together the best educational experts in Central Massachusetts, and connect local families with Student Support Services, Educational Advocacy, and top tier Tutoring at his state of the art facility known as “The Think Tank”. Mr. Curry teaches the bulk of our ELA & SS courses from K-12 and is our firm's General Education Specialist. Due to his years of experience in tutoring younger students, Blake teaches many of Think Tank's early reading and writing courses in K-3 as well as the advanced writing subjects he has taught throughout his academic career.
